Let customers speak for us
from 92 reviewsI bought this kit even though I though it was a bit expensive because I didn't want to risk glyphosate overspray into other plantings. It has exceeded expectations in reducing those risks!
The foaming agent keeps the glyphosate on targeted plants - I am able to paint individual bindweed leaves and stems above grass without the glyphosate getting the grass. I have applied to bindweed twice this summer, and the bindweed is no longer living its best life in our yard. I understand bindweed eradication may be a multi-year process, so final results are still unknown, but at least the bindweed is shriveling and is no longer flowering.
As a cut flower gardener who generally doesn’t use herbicides and is wary of the damage they can cause, some invasive thorny trees popped up from seeds blown from neighboring yards that were impossible to eliminate any other way. Also some ash seedlings impossible to dig. The foam worked well for me to apply even in the midst of my peony garden, and quickly eliminated the invasive seedlings that were entangled with my plants, without any damage to my plants.
I was a little frightened handling pesticides. I took full precautions. The Injection system worked easily and very safe. So far the injected stems left up have all turned brown. Some stems did produce some, but the laves were deformed. But mostly all growth had died. I missed some plants. But I read you can use the Round Up until fall to be effective against Japanese Knotweed
Once I figured out to remove the dip tube and switch with the straight dip tube and breather tube attachment, it worked perfectly. Very easy to use and clean. I have large patches of Japanese Knotweed scattered on our property, I'm ready to start eradicating this invasive plant with this tool.
We had a creeping thistle infestation in our back yard area where we had flowers planted and wanted to put in some native grasses. I was at odds for a long time as to how I was going to get rid of the thistle and save the young tree and other plants we wanted to keep. My wife found this product. It was the perfect solution. And it worked l like a charm. The mixing and prep was straightforward, the foaming applicator worked well and was easy to use, and I was able to precisely target just the thistle at different spots. It's been a month or so now, and all the thistle has died down to the roots. There will be some popping back in the fall, but they will have no chance if I use this foamer. This is the best product. Efficient use of herbicide and environmentally friendly. I would highly recommend it to anyone who needs to selectively apply glyphosate to their weeds.
I use this in very large plantings of purple winter creeper as a ground cover to get rid of perennials that grow in between the plantings as they spread. I'm talking about 2 250' banks 15-20' high! Also in honey suckle fencerows to eliminate "patches" of raspberries and Canada thistle. No other method would suffice
On my second one after the first one kicked the bucket after 3 years. I use it on all my weeds you can do a couple hundred per refill. The only thing this needs is a 16 or 24 inch straw so you wouldn't have to bend over and it'd be perfect
I had great hopes that this would allow for hyper targeted herbicide use to help with control of invasives and aggressive hard to kill rhizomatic plants. It has exceeded expectations as it allows for herbicide use while reducing potential for issues of drift or inadvertently applying to desired plants. Highly recommend.
The foamer works well but you do have to pump it a lot so it has enough air to make the foam. It would really be nice if it was battery operated with a rechargeable battery. The customer service is great!
real nice - i am glad to have this tool in my arsenal
The only thing I do not like about this kit is the fact that the plants do not squeal when you inject them - it would be so much more satisfying to me if the plants squealed and writhed about in pain.
I was killing myself trying to fight the invasive plants in my yard - but the precision nozzle and blue die in this product really did the trick. Completely worth it. So glad I found this product. I live in Ohio and it worked on creeping bellflower! Now I am going to table Bishops Weed (grout weed).
Precision Foam Weed Killer Kit - Small
Very pleased with the accuracy I can get on killing weeds around my lawn and sensitive plants without harming anything but the weeds.
This is a great product. I've been using it for 3 years now. I originally bought it to rid my yard of poison ivy & an invasive vine type weed that strangles the life out of every plant it gets next to. To my delight it worked well on both. I continue to use it to keep things under controll. I particularly like the fact that the foam stays exactly where you put it & doesn't spread. I can kill an unwanted weed growing right next to my Iris or Peonies without jeopardizing a single bloom. It's always nice to find a product that exactly as advertised. Thank you.
